Our church in the desert
North of Stallion Site gate,  White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico

The 24 hour Peace Vigil begun with a mass on the eve of July 15.  The mass started with a person*  reading the number of men, women and children  that had died as a result of wars in this century.   Beginning with the Boer War 1899-1902, (also known as the "South African War") on through the present,  wars in all parts of the world.  Wars fought by many nations,  not just the Untied States of America.  millions and million of humans have died as a result of war this century. The Peace Vigil is not a protest against our Government, but a protest against war and violence in general through-out the world.

The Holy Trinity refers to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

El Cerrito de la Paz

The Stations of the Cross were said on the way to the top of this little hill.  Crosses were placed by Mr. Felix Rios in each station.   The climb up this little hill is both hard and dangerous, but many good folks made the climb giving praise and glory to God.
