San Miguel Catholic Church

The Society of  St. Joseph The Carpenter is a ministry of volunteers who serve their parish through the skills of their hands. The Society was founded in 1993. Its membership is composed of men and women who donate their time and talents to keep our beautiful church in good repair. The task of maintaining the oldest (established in 1598) church in the United States of America is a rewarding experience.  "The Carpenters" undertake projects of almost any reasonable size, from oiling hinges to building parking facilities. They reach out to the poor and the incapacitated who have no other help to repair things in their homes. The Carpenters also help the missions with church repairs.

The Carpenters meet once a month at the Side Chapel of San Miguel Church. Usually on the second Saturday of the month at 8:00 AM.  Workday follows after the meeting.

PRAYER

Our most sincere prayer to our beloved St.Joseph.
MEMORARE OF ST. JOSEPH
REMEMBER, O most illustrious Patriarch St. Joseph,on the testimony of St. Theresa, thy devoted client, never has it been heard that anyone who invoked thy protection or sought thy mediation has not obtained relief. In this thy confidence I come before thee, my beloved protector, chaste spouse of Mary, foster father of the Saviour of men and dispenser of the treasure of His Sacred Heart. Despise not my earnest prayer.....(here mention your request)
Let us pray
O God, who by thine ineffable Providence didst vouchsafe to choose St. Joseph to be the spouse of thy most blessed Mother, grant we beseech thee, that he whom we venerate as our protector on earth may be our intercessor in Heaven. Amen.

St. Joseph is the "Patron of  the Universal Church" and the "Universal Patron" plus "Patron of Happy Death " He may be invoked with great benefit in all necessities.
