Tech listed as Best Value by Princeton Review
by George Zamora The latest edition of the annual guide, which went on sale today, profiles 165 choice colleges from throughout the United States with outstanding academics, generous financial aid packages, and relatively low costs. The Princeton Review also has posted a complete list of the selected schools in the book on its website at www.princetonreview.com. New Mexico Tech also was included in the category of “Best Western Colleges” in the current edition of America’s Best Value Colleges. The Princeton Review compiled the ranking list and chose the colleges for the guidebook based on data the company obtained from administrators at more than 650 colleges during the 2005-2006 academic year, as well as from surveys of students attending them. Says Robert Franek, V.P.-Publishing, The Princeton Review, "We looked at more than 30 factors in four areas — academics, tuition, financial aid and student borrowing — to winnow our list of best value picks.
