Los Gansos Rojos

Red Geese

by Betty Reynolds

Quilt is 39 x 39"

Red and white quilt

I entered this quilt in the Museum of the American Quilter's Society's "Red and White Quilt Contest" in March 2000 where it won a yellow third place ribbon. It was auctioned, along with other donations to the red and white contest, to benefit the Museum in Paducah, Kentucky on April 14, 2000.

The quilt is made of 4" paper pieced blocks using a "big and easy" pattern from Miniature Quilts magazine, issue #43 (Sept. 1999), p. 24-25. The designer of the original block, called Ruitjes, is Els Feteris, of the Netherlands.
