Machine pieced on paper foundations designed by Debby Kratovil,, this
quilt is machine quilted (62 x 86 inches). There are 236 3"
signature blocks arranged in groups of four, signed by about
400 family members and friends of my father, Edward
Blakslee, to celebrate his 80th birthday in
April 1998. The signature blocks are alternated with 72 topical fabric blocks that
represent things of significance in Dadn's life.
