Snow Ice Cream

Snow Ice Cream

1/2 c. heavy cream
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Whip cream, fold in sugar & vanilla. Fill a large bowl with about 1 quart very clean snow. Fold cream mixture into snow. Cover tightly & pack into a snow bank until hardened. Drizzle with maple or chocolate syrup--Yummy.

The unlikely source of this recipe is the lining of my 1997 holiday vest. If we ever have enough snow in Socorro to make a snow bank, we'll give this one a try!
