Leopold Arko and Justin Taylor
Biomedical Career Options |
| The goal of this presentation is to inform students about the
many options in the health care field with major focus on getting into medical school . There will
be a presentation about requirements for entrance, MCAT studying tips, application tips, and a
brief talk about other health care options. The presenters will also talk about their own
experience with the process. Students are welcome to ask questions. |
| Leopold Arko attended New Mexico Tech 2001-2005 and graduated with
highest honors with a degree in Psychology and minors in Chemistry and Biology. He attended
Colorado State University 2005-2006 and attained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science.
He is currently attending the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. |
Justin Taylor attended New Mexico Tech 2001-2002 and then transferred
to the University of New Mexico. He graduated Suma Cum Laude at UNM in 2005 with a degree in Biology.
He worked full time at the UNM Cancer Center as a research technician 2005-2006. He is
currently attending the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. |
