Course Outline.

This course takes a look at various cue sports. It reviews games played on the three major table types: American pocket, Snooker, and Carom.

While a little time will be spent on basic mechanics this course is more about playing the games than on learning to shoot. Class time will be spent on learning rules and strategies for the various games. To do this effectively attendance is required (more than five absences will normally result in a failing grade).

  1.   Introduction to course material and requirements. This will be followed by a review of Accepted / Preferred techniques: Hand bridge, stance, grip, mechanical bridge, stroke, other useful bridges.
