Cleaning Day
Cleaning day, cleaning dayTime to put stuff away.
Empty drawers are filled once more,
In an attempt to clear the floor.
Clothes are here; books are there;
Junk is pilled up everywhere!
A shirt or two, a sock, a shoe,
Under the bed it is for you.
Then the rest I tow, into the closet, ho!
"Hey," I say, "No one will know."
Once inside it's crammed, the door I slammed,
And now the door is terribly jammed!
Oh, what shall I do, what shall I do!
My homework's in there and it's due.
Oh, boo hoo! My clothes are in there too!
Well, execpt two shirts, a sock, and a shoe.
I knew I shouldn't have cleaned my room.
