The New Mexico Tech Astronomy Club is a student supported and run club that
focuses primarily on public outreach. Outreach is available to anyone
for free. The club runs the
Etscorn Observatory
at
New Mexico Tech
where most of our public outreach is conducted. Members are also allowed to use
the facilities almost anytime. Club members are mostly Tech students
but we also have members from all over New Mexico who participate in
varying degrees. Occasionally the club goes on field trips to such places as
the VLA,
the MRO
and
Chaco Canyon
