Star Parties
The Astronomy Club will be hosting two star parties May 11 and May 18, 2012. We welcome everyone to join us at the Etscorn Observatory as soon as sun sets.
Meeting Changes
The Astronomy Club will now meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. starting April 11, 2012.
Monthly Star Party
The Astronomy Club will be hosting it's monthly star party this Saturday March 3, 2012 at Estcorn Observatory. Come and join the Astronomy Club this Saturday at sunset!
Science Olympaid
The Astronomy Club will be hosting a star party for Science Olympiad Friday night Febuary 22, 2012 at Etscorn Obervatory. Anyone is welcome to come and join us. We will be having our club meeting Wednesday (tonight) 6:30 at Etscorn Observatory. If you have any questions please email one of the officers or the Astro club's email address.

Astronomy Club Meeting
Our first general meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26. We will meet at Etscorn Observatory at 8:00pm. The purpose of this first meeting is to hammer out the details of general club business, upcoming events for the spring 2012 semester, and officer business and responsibilities. We have a lot of things planned for this semester, so if you are interested in joining up or just curious come out and see what we are all about! The coming semester will offer a lot of events, star parties, and even a few trips. Those individuals requiring rides to the observatory or directions should either contact an officer, or simply send an email to astro@nmt.edu letting us know how we can help you.
