Meeting called to order at 12:17 pm by Nick Spinhirne.
1. Introduction of Officers
Nick Spinhirne has taken over as president, and Seth Price as vice president due to the resignations of Drew Prichard, Erica Herring and Mike Anguti.
2. MS&T Conference Report
Matt Burr, Ian Rudnick, Will Guenley, Michael Ruth, Nick Spinhirne and Seth Price attended the MS&T conference in Detroit. Nick and Seth presented, Ian recruited, and the others participated in the Ceramic Mug Drop Contest. The mug was disqualified for not holding water, otherwise it would have taken 2nd place.
3. Club Budget
The SA will not fund food or registration fees. They will fund van rentals, gas, and possibly computer upgrades for the computer lab.
4. Rio Grande Symposium
The SA will fund our van. Dr. Fuirer's group is going. Registration is $50.
5. Material Advantage Membership Drive
Club is capable of winning $500 for the largest increase (percentage) in Material Advantage membership. Membership is $25, but $5 comes back to the materials club.
6. Fundraising ideas?
Shape memory hearts at Valentine's Day, maybe Shape memory BEvERage thermometer. SA will not fund supplies for this.
