Old Business:
1. Trips - The trip to Tesuque Glassworks will be this Saturday,
April 10th leaving at 11am. The other trip to Advanced Materials Laboratory
on Monday, April 26th will leave at 2pm. Signup sheets were posted for each
trip.
2. Fundraising - Booth at Spring Fling - There will be none.
Students will not be charged to take part in carnival-style events.
New business:
1. Dr. Bond's party - This went well, there were more than 20 people
who came to eat cake and soda.
2. Fundraising - We will be submitting a bid to set up chairs for
the graduation on Saturday, May 15th for the registrar's office. We have done
this in the past and it goes very well when there are more than 5 volunteers
to help.
3. Fundraising - There was a general consensus to undertake a project
to buy 99+% aluminum rods to slice into little disks and to sell earrings and
buttons made out of the disks.
4. Fundraising - A new idea was introduced...making paperweights from
globs of glass with the NMT logo stamped into them. This will be explored
further and could be a future fundraiser.
Meeting adjourned at 5 pm.
