Norton Internet Security

Norton Internet Security tries to block all internet traffic. Therefore you must provide the Internet address and name of programs it should allow to connect to the internet

1. Log on as Administrator
2. Right click the Norton icon and pick Open Norton Internet Security
3. Pick Norton Internet Security bar on the left
4. Run Live Update several times until the response is that it is up to date
5. Pick Personal Firewall on the right
6. Click Turn On if it is off
7. Click Configure
8. Pick the Networking tab and click Add
9. For a single IP, pick Individually and enter the address
10. Alternatively, pick Using a range and enter the upper and lower values in the two boxes e.g., 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.254
11. Pick the Programs tab
12. Scroll through the list of programs and select Permit All where appropriate
13. For additional programs, pick Add, and locate other programs
14. Pick OK
