Stereograms, sometimes called Single-Image Random-Dot Stereograms (SIRDS), allow you to see three-dimensional images without special equipment. However, you need to relax and adjust your eyes so that each is looking at a different part of the picture. Imagine that you're looking at an object that is far away. Then look for a repeating pattern and pick out two similar, adjacent objects near the center. Focus the left eye on one copy of the pattern and the right eye on the next copy to the right. The first stereogram below is the easiest. The last one is for guys who really can't do it.
