Windows 95 programs can be automatically started in several ways:

1. The start folder: C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\
2. The load= and run= lines in the win.ini,
3. The [386Enh] section of the SYSTEM.INI (.386 and .vxd files),
4. config.sys
5. autoexec.bat
6. Progman, start-up folder (group)from Win 3

With Windows 98, run C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSCONFIG.EXE, Startup tab, remove
 check mark from program.
