D300 Banding on time exposures

Recently D300 bug is found.
Situtation is as follows;

Auto ISO, Long Time Noise reduction on, exposure time 10s

We found vertical banding noise

This has previously been discussed. I had exactly the same problem so I searched the forums first then thanks to some very smart people who found the fix for the problem, I have no more lines!!

All you have to do is turn off "auto iso"

There were two long threads about the same issue here on DPreview a few weeks ago ... and before that they found it on a german forum.

Some could reproduce it (including me) and some couldn't. The same combination of settings had been found to (most likely) cause this software bug.
