Address for academic correspondence:
Computer Science Department
New Mexico Tech
Socorro, NM 87801 USA

I have given up my faculty position at New Mexico Tech, to concentrate on consulting and training in industry. For details, please see this description of my practice.

I regret that I am unable to answer inquiries about the Computer Science Department. For information about the department, please see the Computer Science Department's home page. For inquiries, including correspondence regarding graduate study, please see this contact information.

A course that I may still teach again (sometime, somewhere) is CS 427, Zero-Defect Software Development. It is based on my adaptation of Cleanroom methods (see below), and uses my own book, Toward Zero-Defect Programming (Addison Wesley Longman, 1999). Here is a paper describing the course and some of the results that we get using the techniques taught in it.
