Ordinary Differential Equations

Description Ordinary differential equations, series solutions, transform calculus.

Prerequisite Math 132 passed with grade C- or better

Annoucements

  1. Solution key to Test 2 has been posted.
  2. Test 2 will be given on May 1, Thursday. Test covers the sections: 3.8, 5.1-5.6, 6.1-6.2. For a review, see  quiz and test solution keys for this and previous semesters (follow the links below).
  3. Homework due date extension: HW 11 is now due April 25, Thursday.
  4. Final Exam Date: May 13, Tuesday, 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., Weir 208. 
  5. Quiz 6 will be given on April 15, Tuesday. The quiz covers Section 5.2.
  6. Solution keys for Test 1 have been posted.
  7. Quiz 5 will be given on April 3, Thursday. The quiz covers sections 3.8 and 3.9.
  8. Quiz solution keys have been posted.
  9. Test 1 will be given on Mar. 20, Thursday. Test covers the studied material from Ch.1 to Ch.3.
  10. HW 7 is assigned, and it is due Mar. 18, Tuesday.
  11. HW 6: Extension till March 6, Thursday.
  12. Quiz 4 will be given on March 4, Tuesday. The quiz will cover section 3.6, the method of reduction of order. You can also use the method described in Problem 33. See problems 23-30 and 33-37.
  13. Quiz 3 will be given on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Covers sections 3.2, 3.4, and 3.5.
  14. Change in the homework assignment. Only section 3.1 is due on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
  15. Quiz 2 will be given on Feb. 14, Thursday. Covers sections 2.3 and 2.5.
  16. Sections 2.4, 2.6-2.9 will not be covered.
