		Welcome to the Socorro Branch of 

		the AAUW  

      
The Socorro Branch of the 
		American Association of University Women is a branch of the National AAUW. Our mission is to promote education and equity for all women and 
		girls, lifelong education, and positive societal change.

 From September through 
	April we host monthly programs on a 
	variety of subjects.  These programs are offered to the entire 
	community.  You are welcome to attend!

	
 The Socorro AAUW offers 
	two scholarships each year, one to a 
	Socorro High School girl and one to a New Mexico Tech student.  
	Community 
	fundraising events are held several times 
	each year to generate funds for scholarships.

	newsletter is published quarterly.
