Antivirus updates for McAfee VirusScan

To use the New Mexico Tech antivirus updates server, you must be running McAfee VirusScan Enterprise v7.1 or newer.

To add New Mexico Tech's antivirus server to your repository list, open the McAfee Virus Scan Console located in your Start Menu under ``Network Associates''. In the VirusScan console, click on ``Tools'' and go down to ``Edit AutoUpdate Repository List.'' Here, you can add New Mexico Tech to your list of available update servers.

Click on ``Add'' in the right-hand menu and fill in the following information:

1. Repository description: New Mexico Tech
2. Retrieve files from: HTTP repository
3. Repository details:
   • URL: antivirus.nmt.edu/mcafee
   Port: 80
