1. Introduction

LDAP, the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, is already a pivotal part of TCC's internal record-keeping infrastructure.

This document will first discuss what LDAP is and why we're using it. Later sections will discuss the implications for the TCC and describe tools that will allow TCC staff to manage workflow involving LDAP.
