File restore: Copying files from removable media in Windows

Follow this procedure to transfer files to your Tech Computer Center account from removable media such as CD-ROM, DVD, or Flash drive.

Insert the removable media.
Click on My Computer.
Select the removable media device and navigate to the files or archives you want to restore.
Under File and Folder Tasks, click on Copy the selected items. This brings up a Copy Items panel.
In the Copy Items panel, the U: drive is the location of the files in your TCC account. Navigate to the location where you want to restore the files, then click Copy.
