File restore: Copying files from removable media in Windows
Follow this procedure to transfer files to your Tech
Computer Center account from removable media such as CD-ROM,
DVD, or Flash drive.
- Insert the removable media.
- Click on My Computer.
- Select the removable media device and navigate to the
files or archives you want to restore.
- Under File and Folder Tasks,
click on Copy the selected items.
This brings up a Copy Items panel.
- In the Copy Items panel,
the U: drive is the location of the files in
your TCC account. Navigate to the location where you
want to restore the files, then click Copy.
