Extracting archive files in Windows

To extract some or all of the files from a .zip archive, follow this procedure.

1. Click on My Computer.
2. Navigate to your archive and click to select it.
3. Select File → 7-Zip → Open archive. This brings up the 7-Zip File Manager window.
4. Click to select the files you want to extract. If you want to extract them all, use Edit → Select All.
5. Click the large Copy button. This brings up the Copy window.
6. In the Copy window, enter the location where you want to copy the selected files, then click OK.
