File restore: Copying files from removable media in Linux

Follow this procedure to transfer files from removable media such as CD-ROM, DVD, or Flash drive to your Tech Computer Center account.

  1. Log in to any TCC workstation under Linux.
  2. Insert the removable medium.
  3. Use the regular Linux cp command to copy the files to locations inside your TCC account.
  4. To unmount:
