Selecting your account name

Your account name is necessary to identify you uniquely to the computers and the staff. You get to pick your own account name, subject to these restrictions:

1. It must be made of no more than eight lowercase letters.
2. You can't use a name someone else is already using.

Suggestions:

• Your surname: lincoln
• Your given name: madeleine
• Pieces of several names: ajfoyt
• A nickname: rocky
• Something completely unrelated to you: krusty, feldspar
