What is a TCC account?

It would be great if everyone had their own computer, but we have to share. To give you the illusion of having your very own computer, the computer center sets up an account for you.

So, each time you start a work session at the TCC, you have to log in, that is, tell the computer which user you are so it can set things up the way you like them.

Once you have logged in, you can access your personal files.

When you finish, you must log out to make the facilities available to the next user. If you don't log out, someone else can tamper with your files, so please be careful always to log out when you are finished working.
