Moodle is a courseware system, that is, it is a way for your instructor to transmit and receive course-related information via the Web. All interactions with Moodle take place within your favorite Web browser, regardless of what operating system you are using.
The instructor may choose Moodle to post several types of course materials such as lecture notes, announcements, assignments, online quizzes, and your grades.
Your instructor may want you to submit completed assignments on the Moodle site, or take quizzes.
At your instructor's discretion, the course's Moodle site may also contain interactive course-related communications features such as bulletin boards, chat rooms, or Wikis.
