NMT Blackboard 8.0 Instructor's Guide

If you teach a course at New Mexico Tech, the Blackboard Vista courseware package can help you administer courses and deliver course content to your students.

All instructor and student interaction takes place in a Web browser. Therefore, access to your course materials does not depend on whether a student is running Windows, MacOS, or Linux.

The package is highly modular: use as much or as little of it as you think appropriate. This document is not intended to be a complete guide to every function. The intent is to help you put up the common, basic course functions quickly. For functions not covered here, refer to Blackboard's extensive online help system. Also, the Tech Computer Center offers free training for faculty at your convenience.
