Printing: The name of the printer you wish to use

Most of the printers at the TCC are named for the rooms they
are located in. Here is a list of available printers, their locations,
and what they do.
All the printers are
PostScript compatible. HP 4si printers are the
fastest, followed by 3si, 4p, and Apple II printers in that
order.
- Self-service whenever the TCC is open:
- speare14: Laser printer, Apple II,
located in Speare 14 (north terminal lab)
- Self-service when there is a
user consultant on duty
- speare5: Laser printer, HP 4si, located in Speare 5 near
the Help Desk
- speare4: Laser printer, HP 4p, located in Speare 4
- speare9: Laser printer, HP 4p, located in Speare 9
- speare6: Laser printer, Apple II, Speare 6
- speare15: Laser printer, Apple II,
Speare 15 (central terminal lab)
- color: HP color laser printer (plain paper), Speare 5
- trans: HP color laser printer, for making
overhead projector transparencies, Speare 5
- Printers available only through the
user consultant on duty:
- Printers in computer classrooms
- workman54: HP 3si, Workman 54
- weir204: HP 3si, Wier 204
