Tech Computer Center logo

The programming language named C dates from the 1970s. This language is intimately associated with the Unix operating system, but it is probably now available on nearly every known type of computer. It is used primarily for systems programming.

In the last few years, the C++ programming language has rapidly become very popular. This object-oriented language is derived from C.
