What is a URL (Uniform Resource Locator)?
|
|
Every
HTML document has a
uniform resource locator, or URL, typically
of this form:
http://host.domain/path/filename
where the host.domain identifies the system and the
path and file specify the file.
Your browser will always display the URL of the document you
are currently viewing. In Netscape, the URL appears in the
window labeled ``Location:''.
