Using ``Next'' links in Web pages
|
|
In many cases, you will want most of your readers to go through
some Web pages in a definite sequence. On such pages, the first
end link on a Web page should be the word ``Next'' and a link
to the next page.
Such links should be used:
- When the material is strongly sequential, as in tutorials
where the reader must be presented new ideas in a particular
order so they don't encounter terms they've never seen before.
- When the author expects that almost everyone who is on this
page will want to go to a specific page next.
