Web page hosting policies at www.nmt.edu
|
|
If you have an account with the
New Mexico Tech Computer Center (TCC),
you can host Web content on our server.
Your pages will not be visible on the Web unless you conform to
our local security policies. These policies are in place for the
protection of Web authors from some security problems. Please
read the pages linked below before creating new Web content.
- See the page on
static Web page policies
for the rules for ordinary, static Web pages. By static Web
page, we mean a page that changes content only when the author
goes in and changes it.
- See
`Dynamic (CGI) Web page hosting'
for additional requirements for CGI scripting. The CGI
protocol allows you to set up pages that will be generated
dynamically each time a reader pulls them up.
