text cursor: An indicator that shows your current
position on the
display. Text that you type will
appear at this position. The cursor may be a solid rectangle,
a blinking underline, or some other indicator.
mouse cursor: A pointer whose position follows your
mouse or other
pointing device. This pointer is generally an arrow
but may have many other appearances depending on what you are
currently doing.
