Choosing a TCC mailer program

You can read your TCC mail from any Web browser, running anywhere on the Internet, using a secure mail reader. Just go to https://webmail.nmt.edu/.

There are a number of different e-mail programs available at the TCC.

• On Windows systems, we recommend:
  • The Thunderbird mail reader for the Mozilla Web browser.
• Under Linux:
  • pine is a good general-purpose mailer for Linux. It is relatively user-friendly. For documentation, see Using pine to send and receive e-mail.
  • mutt is a geekier, more full-featured mailer. See the man page for mutt.
