TCC Logo

To open a document:

  1. Position the cursor in the menu bar of the document window.
  2. Click the left mouse button on the File item.
  3. Select Open.
  4. If you have typed in the document window, WordPerfect will ask if you want to save the current document. If you say NO, WordPerfect will clear the document screen.
  5. The Retrieve box will appear. Select the file you wish to open. You can also select from a variety of format options at the bottom of the Retrieve box.
  6. Select OK.

WordPerfect will allow nine open documents at one time, but the Open command will open documents only into the current document window.
