Tech Computer Center logo

You can include any artwork, diagram or figure in a Plain TeX document, so long as it is represented using PostScript format.

  1. Prepare your artwork and save it as a PostScript or Encapsulated PostScript file.
  2. Determine the size of the figure. See `Sizing a PostScript figure for use in TeX'.
  3. Encode your TeX source file. See `Encoding PostScript graphics in Plain TeX'.
  4. Preview the file on an X-windows terminal, if available. See `Previewing TeX files with encapsulated PostScript'.
  5. For paper copies, see `Printing TeX files with encapsulated PostScript'.
