Ileaf Basics: Naming the document

Renaming your document is a good idea. Otherwise all of your files will have the same name:document. You can rename your document while it's closed (i.e. still an icon) or when it's open.

To rename your document while it's closed (icon):

  1. Click on the name with the left mouse button.
  2. The name rectangle will turn black.
  3. Delete the current name by holding down the control key and the d key at the same time.
  4. Type in the document's new name.
  5. Press return.

To rename your document while it's open:

  1. Move the mouse to the top of the document.
  2. Click and hold the middle mouse button over the name of the document.
  3. Select Rename.
  4. Type the new name into the pop-up window.
  5. Select ok.
