Ileaf Basics: The mouse
|
|
The mouse may be used for most activities except text entry within
Interleaf.
To click a mouse button, press and quickly release a mouse
button.
- The left mouse button is the select button. Click on an item
with the left mouse button to select the item.
- The middle mouse button is the menu button. Hold down on the
menu button to see the possible menu actions. You can select a menu
item by holding down the middle button and moving the mouse.
Different menu items will be highlighted as you move the mouse;
release the mouse when the correct menu item has been selected.
- The right mouse button is the selection-complete
button. It is not used as often as the left or middle mouse
button. It can be used in conjunction with the left mouse
button to select either a range of text or more than one
item. To select a range of text, click the left mouse button
at the beginning of the text and then click the right mouse
button at the end of the text. To select more than one item,
click the left mouse button on the first item, then click the
right mouse button on the next items.
