Getting permission to use Sybase
|
|
Before you begin using Sybase SQL Server, you must get
permission from the TCC.
- Send e-mail to sybase@nmt.edu
If you are not sure how to do this, see
`Sending and receiving electronic mail'.
- In your e-mail, give them a name for your database.
They will send back, via e-mail, confirmation that you
have permission, and your Sybase SQL Server password.
Your e-mail should look something like:
May I please have permission to use Sybase? I would
like my database to be called rolodex. Thanks.
The response from the TCC looks like:
Your database named 'rolodex' has been created.
Your password is 'JuJu!Bean'.
