The new configuration of our modems uses PAP and we no longer distribute connection scripts. Some of the sections pertaining to the scripts we had handed out before may be useful for people with older operating systems if they are experiencing problems. We no longer have the scripts to hand out though if their script is missing or munged.
We have ceased to support people using Microsoft Windows 95, since Microsoft itself has ceased to support that Operating System.
The current TCC MS Windows OS is XP. That is the only MS Windows OS we will support in setting up modem connections.
Be aware that the phone company won't guarantee data rates over 9600 baud. If a person can't get a connection at the full speed of our modems it may be due to the quality of phone lines in their house or the phone company's lines between the user and us.
