Tech Computer Center User Consultant Handbook

This handbook was written with the intent of making the UC job a bit easier to perform. If you notice any place where this manual can be improved, please pass that information on to the Services Coordinator (see the Restricted Handbook : TCC Staff).

The sections, of the "Quick Table of Contents" which are marked by ** are heavily referenced during the training of new UCs. If you are a new UC then you should study those sections first.

This entire handbook should be read before a UC is halfway through his first semester on the job. This should be done so needed information can be found when there's nobody around to ask questions of.

Experienced UCs should periodically read this handbook, and the Restricted Handbook, to check their accuracy and completeness. Any errors or omissions should be reported to the Services Coordinator.
