TCC free classes: WebCT (Web Courseware Tools)
|
|
WebCT (Web Course Tools) is a course development package that enables
an instructor to integrate the Internet into delivery of a course.
- You can use WebCT to create a centralized course homepage
with access to course materials. No prior experience with
Web page construction is required.
- You can control and monitor student access, limiting access
to certain users or certain times. You can also monitor
how much people are actually looking at your pages.
- WebCT includes a grade book that provides statistical analysis of
student performance. You can allow your grader to put grades in
directly, and you can also allow students to check their
grades directly on the Web.
- In a few mouse clicks you can add Web-based communication tools
such as bulletin boards and chat rooms.
The TCC will offer training in the use of this package
to our faculty in Fall 2007. If you are interested in WebCT, please
send mail to
john@nmt.edu.
Class meets Fridays at 2:30–3:20pm in Speare 116.
