Expeditionary Association Summer Trip to Soda Dam

Posted July 17th, 2007 by Vanessa.BarelaOn July 8, many members of the Expeditionary Association were making their way back to Socorro from Chama, NM. Instead of taking the monotonous I-25, the group voted to take winding roads through Los Alamos to Soda Dam near Jemez.
Around 15 members of the club attended this impromptu expedition. Students hiked around the area and crossed the river. There is a waterfall that goes through the dam and Travis Peacock was willing to test it as a water slide.
