Giving to the Department

Chemical Engineering Program Development Fund:

The Chemical Engineering Department at New Mexico Tech is truly a unique program with an unparalleled committment to developing undergraduates into solid engineers. The vision of our program is to expand on the experience of students outside of the lecture hall. Our goals involve increasing NMTech's student presence at regional and national AIChE conferences, supporting expenses for independent studies and national design competitions, as well as providing new equipment for the student's labs. All of these efforts will require outside forms of support.

In 2002, the Chemical Engineering Program Fund was established to support our students to do the kinds of things that really enhance the undergraduate engineering experience at New Mexico Tech. To support this effort, tax deductible donations can be sent to the following:

Chemical Engineering Program Fund
Account Number: 230102
NM Tech Office for Advancement
801 Leroy Place
Socorro, NM 87801

If requested your donation will remain anonymous. If your company has a matching gifts program, this Fund should qualify in this regard. If you have more questions about the Fund do not hesitate to contact our Administrative Secretary, Karen Balch, at 505-835-5412 or the Director of Advancement Cheryl Pulaski at (505) 835-6769. Email links have also been provided.

As the Fund grows and with good stewardship, we hope to establish a second Endowment Fund which will provide a perpetual mechanism for supporting the unique educational opportunities the our program has incorporated into its educational philosophy.
