Summer Internships

Many possibilities exist for NMTech Chemical Engineers to be employed by companies over the summer months. There are many opportunities through the national labs and other New Mexico companies... in fact, students have been placed all over the world on summer assignments!!!

University sponsored summer research experience for undergraduates (REU) programs are also sweeping the nation. Many universities offer paid stipends for Chemical Engineering students to give students a glimpse of graduate schools and the diverse range of problems being approached through Chemical Engineering. Here are links to lists of universities offering research in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, and Materials Science... all of which are open to Chemical Engineering undergraduates.
